Six Thinking Hats - Parallel Thinking

In 1985 Dr Edward de Bono designed an alternative method of 'parallel thinking' which is now widely used in business and education. The Six Thinking Hats course will teach you how to separate thinking into six distinct categories; each identified by its own coloured metaphorical "thinking hat". By mentally wearing and switching "hats", you can easily focus or redirect thoughts, the conversation, or the meeting and break free from the traditional argument system.

Who should attend

Leaders, senior managers and all business people who are responsible for improving their organisation's performance.

This essential course:

Six Thinking Hats

White Hat - Information known and needed

Yellow Hat - Optimism: Values and benefits - Why it will work

Green Hat - Possibilities, alternatives and new ideas

Red Hat - Feelings, hunches and intuition

Black Hat - Negative judgement/devil's advocate - Why it will not work, use caution, not argument

Blue Hat - Managing the thinking process
