Dr de Bono divides thinking into two methods. He calls one ‘Vertical Thinking’ - the traditional, historical method which uses the processes of logic. The other he calls ‘Lateral Thinking’ - this entails disrupting an apparent thinking sequence and arriving at the solution from another angle.

Lateral Thinking™
Dr de Bono's proven Lateral Thinking™ methods provide a deliberate, systematic process that will result in innovative thinking.

This leading-edge course will enable individuals to:
> Learn how to use specific tools and techniques to generate alternatives that go far beyond obvious solutions.
> Recognise that certain problems will never be solved by ever more elaborate analysis of existing information.
> Challenge current thinking to find new opportunities.
>Make innovative thinking part of your everyday work style.
> Learn how to think laterally!

Who should attend:
Head teachers, teachers (pre-school, primary, secondary, further education, vocational, adult, special needs), teacher trainers, careers officers, educational guides, advisors and curriculum leaders.
