The Edward de Bono Foundation is a UK-registered charity in the teaching of thinking skills for the advancement of education, scientific knowledge and research. It is also involved in the sponsorship of innovative concepts in the disciplines of human thinking and the processes of human thought. The Foundation is a recent arrival in the UK (2007), though long established worldwide.
Dr. Edward de Bono, author of over 75 books, is widely regarded as the one of the leading authorities on the teaching of creative, parallel and constructive thinking as an explicit skill. Thinking systems devised by Dr. Edward de Bono include Six Thinking Hats®, DATT® (Direct Attention Thinking Tools), CORT, and Lateral Thinking.
The Edward de Bono Foundation UK provides training courses and thinking systems for Education, Business and Third Sector clients using the de Bono toolset to facilitate change management, the development of strategic planning, organisational change, leadership, business innovation, organisational learning and teamworking.
